My plan to stash some emergency cash in the CR-V went south after I accidentally dropped my roll somewhere in here:

What's the best way to access the inside of the tailgate? It looks like I can pull off the interior plastic piece with a little effort. Doesn't look like there's any hardware keeping it on but I'd like to know if there are any tricks to taking it off. Once that's off, I'm assuming there's a few bolts securing the frame together.

Basically I'd appreciate any tips'n'tricks before I take this sucker apart. Thanks!

I'll tell you but it'll cost you a hundred. Or you might try bernardiparts.com or majestic honda's site for diagrams if you don't hear from someone on here with your year. My '06 has 1 screw and about 17 clips to remove tailgate trim.
