Hi folks,

I live in South West France and have just acquired a 2010 CR-V 2.2CDTI automatic. It's a bit of a change from my much-loved 206 as well as being the first Japanese vehicle I've owned.

Loving driving it, although plugging in an OBD2 reader after having repeated DPF clean warnings proved a slight shock, but that's another story. :)

If the warning is about clogged DPF then there's nothing a little Italian tuning does not fix.

I'm a believer in Italian Tuning.

I run our engines to the far end of the RPM range at least once a month. (Even the wife's minivan.)
The extended duty cycle from wide open running keeps the injectors clean, limbers up the piston rings, and prevents carbon on the spark plugs & pistons. (At least, that's what I keep telling myself.) ? YEE-HAA!
