Some things I wish my CR-V had from the factory:

1. Rear cargo & rear seat power outlets (not USB)
2. Full LED interior lights
3. LED fog lights
4. Wireless phone charging pad
5. map pocket on back of driver's seat
6. Glovebox LED light
7. US heater rear seats
8. US panoramic roof
9. powered auto folding side mirrors
10. AUX port
11. Full power (2.5A) USB ports all around
12. Means to easily switch between two Bluetooth profiles on the infotainment system

I doubt that we will ever see any of them. The typical owner would have no idea what the gauges would tell them and trying to explain them would be difficult at best. Many just need the lights but some haven't figured out that red lights means STOP.
Maybe have them as a digital meter in the center display that would be user configurable and scrolled through like the mpg, AWD display.

I wish my CRV had an unlocked Android installation so I can install Google Maps and other Android apps :)
An illuminated gear shift position indicator. Less than ideal to look for the small display on the dash.
I agree the sound system (Touring) is completely underwhelming. The sound in my 2003 Silverado kicks its butt. The memory driver's seat is great but they really cheaped out by still making me readjust the outside mirrors every time we switch. My biggest complaint is that the adaptive cruise control does nothing to maintain my set speed when coasting down a grade unless someone is ahead of me. I will never understand that engineering choice. It is a minor but annoying nuisance to have to brake the car myself and then resume every time in hilly terrain when the system could easily be handling it. I imagine they might say they don't want the system "riding the brakes" but I'm not asking for it to do anything but what the driver has to do anyway, what's the difference?
More leg room. I have the seat all the way back and I am only 6'1. Having a bad left knee makes me have turn my body to get in the car. Shortest leg room I have ever had in a car.
My list in order of priority(Instructive that in less than a month with my 2017 CRV EX, I had 6 of the OP items on my list)

1.2. and 3. Light(or other visual indicator) on transmission shifter position( I dont want look at shifter to put in gear and then look somewhere else to verify)
4. Regular but not too freq. Software updates with fixes and minor improvements to the head unit(1 - 2/year)(Id even pay a reasonable fee(not the NAV $300) for these)
5. Atleast an option for Full size spare
6. Rear cargo power outlet (not USB-really miss this and used in 2005CRV)
7. Full Front-back(side) roof rails off the roof(like the crossbars)
8. This one is hard to explain - my 2005CRV front center console/table/armrest had a hook for your takeout bag strap sitting on the pass front seat floor.
8A. Get rid of the bump on floor pass. side(right) of center console it messes w my take out bag balance.
9. Glovebox LED light(really you have lighted visor makeup mirrors on both sides but no glove box light)
10. map pocket on back of driver's seat
11. Another tricky one. The head unit screen is a dust/finger print magnet! My old turntable had a roller/brush (almost like a thick pipe cleaner) that you used to clean records. Something like that could slide into a pocket/grove around the head unit to hide.
12.More front storage, my 2005 CRV had way more around the head unit. I dont like reaching down into front center while driving.
13. AUX port
14. Overhead not side lights in Cargo area - better to see whole area
15. More gauge options on dash display - if youve ever seen the prius you can get tons of tech info from computer
16. Better Honda OEM mud flaps
17. Address having someway to get an alwayson or manually switch power supply, even if its only something easy for a DIYer
18. Full power (2.5A) USB ports all around
19. Means to easily switch between two Bluetooth profiles on the infotainment system
20. Nets/pockets or atleast hooks both sides rear cargo area-maybe you get this on touring?
21. Simpler OEM hitch install(Im seeing stuff like dealer has to Mod the rear trim that makes me uncomfortable)
22. I liked the old full triangle rear side windows(the bottom parallel to ground not sloped up) just a bit better visibilty
23. Memory seat option below Touring(the only thing that almost made me step up)
24. Full android to install apps(but i understand why they dont, but Im not a fan of the nanny state/litigous world)

Still lovin what I got just helping Honda w next years sales ;)

We really like this CRV a lot... but wish

1. More Power
2. Heated Steering wheel for the Ms.
3. Pano Roof
4. Tighter gaps w/the body panels
5. Better audio system
6. Available OEM front mask (for our numerous out of state trips)
I have a 2017 Touring... would agree that the mirrors should adjust with the memory seats (drivers 1 and 2) -- seems like a minor oversight.

Would also love a "Play/Pause" button on the steering wheel for music.

Also the cruise control buttons should be labeled using ENGLISH LETTERS rather than pictographs. Talk about needlessly confusing.

Otherwise the 2017 is spectacular.

This. How much could it have cost Honda to add the feature?
2017 Tourning I couldn't agree more, the car feels large and on a 13 hour run I never got tired. A beautifully designed auto love love love the adaptive cruise control. Highway driving has become a breeze, I never would have realized how relaxing driving could be. I agree about the sun roof, I tried to use it and things just get to loud.
20. Nets/pockets or atleast hooks both sides rear cargo area-maybe you get this on touring?
You've got little fold-down hooks in the back. They're in that little cubby behind the wheel wells. Gotta know they're there to find them because you can't see them looking inside the hatch area. They are so useless because they're mounted kinda low to the cargo deck.
Somethings I really miss

Better display and Android Auto system.
Driver place to put and see external GPS or cell phone when driving.
USB and 12-volt sockets in the cargo area.
Better storage for the driver to use.
LED interior lights.
Cooled seats
Memory seat & mirrors
Tilt side mirror on reverse
V6 engine....' Wonder ifc this will differentiate the 17' crv with the 18' rdx...

Your list sounds great, but I would never want to use a wireless phone charger, ever. They produce eddy currents which destroy electronic components and shorten the life of your expensive phone.

Didn't know that. Using wireless charging every night on my Nexus 5 for 3.5 years and it's still going strong. Does it shorten battery life or shorten the life of the cpu, memory, display, LTE,?

Folding side mirrors and ventilated seats are the only things I would love to see in my car. I went for EXL but if those features were available on the tourning I would have made the jump. LED headlights weren't enough for me to make the jump, didn't care about the other features.
Ditto - ventilated/cooled front seats.
Cooled seats

Oops... sent accidentally! Here's what I meant to say:

My wish list incorporates some of features found in the 2017 Acura RDX:
-Cooled seats
-Memory seat & mirrors
-Tilt side mirror on reverse
-V6 engine....

Wonder if this will differentiate the 17' CRV with the 18' RDX. Acura better step up their game or they'll lose out to Honda...

I'm sure the RDX will go through a refresh this year to incorporate all the cool features the 17' CRV has... (i.e. panoramic moon roof, apple car play, heated steering wheel... in Canada anyways :p) I would have thought these features show up in the Acura line first.... strange.
