finally got around to installing new brakes on my '97 V yesterday. i used OEM honda pads, and i put them on a set of drilled/slotted rotors. on the highway i can feel a definite difference! i opted not to use ceramic to cut down on the heat with hopes of not having a rotor crack. i know they won't last quite as long, but i'm ok with that.

the rotors cost me almost exactly the same as a stock set from kragen would have. i got them from an ebay seller, and i went and picked them up since it's not too far from me. all not hidden behind my MB five-X wheels.

Great!! :D Just be mindful, as I'm sure you are - most cars have tires with less grip than brake stopping power. IE, once you've got stellar brakes, make sure those tires can get that to the ground without losing traction :)
