Introducing myself and Wife
Hello Everyone,
My user name is GLENNRED - My name is Glenn and my wife is red headed (Christina). We have a 2004 Honda CRV - We bought it pre-owned in 2005 with 7,500 miles on it. Yesterday (March 6th, 2015), the ole car turned over 400,000 miles. It still runs like the first day we bought it. It has the original Motor and Transmission. We take VERY good care of the car with regular maintenance and oil changes every 5K miles. Most all the miles on the car are interstate miles. Neither my wife or I have ever had a car this good. My wife retired this past July and I plan to retire in January of 2021. I am hoping the ole car will stay with me until at least that time. I average 25K miles per year going back and forth to work.
Someone mentioned that Honda gives a sticker to put on your car for high mileage recognition. Is this true? If so, we would love to get one if anyone knows who to contact. Thanks for letting us introduce ourselves and we are looking forward to hearing more Honda CRV stories. :banana:
