I'm looking for a way to protect my 2012 CR-V AWD from rock damage and road debris. I posted another thread asking about the Honda Hood Guard and XPEL paint protection kits, but I just came across the Invisible Mask kit from 3M, which purports to be a do-it-yourself kit, priced significantly less than competing brands.

http://www.invisiblemask.com/cgi-bin/products_ip/browser.cgi?prevtype=Automobiles+and+light+trucks&prevyear=2012&prevmake=HONDA&prevmodel=CR-V&prevsubmodel=4DR+ALL-WHEEL+DRIVE&prevseries=&type=Automobiles+and+light+trucks&year=2012&make=HONDA&model=CR-V&submodel=4DR+ALL-WHEEL+DRIVE&series=EX-L

Quite frankly, it looks very similar to the Zagg InvisibleShield kits that I often install on my expensive electronics. Has any attempted a do-it-yourself install of the InvisibleMask film? If so, how did it turn out and are you pleased with the product?

Thanks!
