2019 crv LX and trying to decipher the mpg on the instrument panel. My owners guide does not explain what average mpg the readout is using.

I believe it's whatever you're displaying (i.e., total mileage or one of the trips). When I switch from trip to total, the mileage changes.

i have mine set to "reset" each time i fill up. give me a "more accurate" reading mpg than when one never resets it.
