6 months ago, I drained/ filled the ATF on my '14 LX at 35K miles.

However, the dealership sold me an extra bottle of ATF that I can't return for a refund....so I currently have 1.5 bottles.
I honestly don't want these bottles sitting around my garage for the next 2 years. I'd rather buy another bottle and perform the drain/fill again.
Is there any reason why this would be a bad idea?

Same thing goes for the rear diff fluid. I change it yearly. Anything wrong with that?

There's nothing wrong with changing fluids more frequently. Just keep those extra bottles, they don't go bad as often as you think. These fluids won't go bad maybe after 5 years or more.

I changed the auto transmission fluid as well as the rear diff fluid every 30k in my 2000. Not going to hurt it a bit.

It won't hurt anything but it will also not help anything. It's just a waste of money and time to do it more often.
