I tried to remove the remnants of some duct tape that was used after the left rear passenger window was broken with an adhesive remover and it melted the trim. :-(

Dealer says it's only available if I purchase the entire door panel; but I can find a used panel.

Question is, does anyone know if this trim is glued to the panel or attached by screws or some such from behind.

Image is before the damage

TIA

Well, if it is not one piece, then it is probably plastic-heat rivet'd together. If you are willing to spent the time, you could separate it apart, but putting it back to together might be an issue...it can be done. To be honest, the tools needed and effort require may not be worth it. You could try ebay.

Something like...
