Issue with front passenger seat

On my 2017 EX, there is something protruding just under the seat upholstery where the front seat passenger's thigh would rest. It isn't just a crease in the upholstery, something is definitely underneath it. Does this seem like it might be part of the seat heating element or the sensor that detects a passenger is seated?

I agree with the user above, this does not seem normal. My seats are perfectly smooth, this looks like it will certainly cause increased wear to the fabric and eventually failure at that point. Not to mention it looks uncomfortable! I would take it in!

Should be repaired under warranty.

After an oil change, the dealer returned my vehicle with a huge defect in the driver's seat side bolster, as shown in the picture. It was repaired with an updated part under warranty.
