Hi Guys,

Just became the owner of a 2012 CRV EX-L and looking for advice to optimize the vehicle for my use.
I use it mainly to commute to and from work on I4.
Here are my initial questions, and I will be combing the forum for answers, but please contact me directly if you have any experience.

  1. Wind noise - Anybody used doors suppression materials?
  2. Sun roof button - Mine is missing, any idea where I can source one?
  3. Tune-up - Which are the best plugs and leads to use?
  4. Handbook - Mine is missing, best place to find one?
  5. Rear shocks - I think mine may need replacing, which ones are best, I4 is bumpy.
  6. Headlight bulbs - Best ones?
  7. Fog and spot - Would appear to be pointing down, how to adjust?

Thanks:eek:

If you don't find the answers you seek (look for SEARCH tips in the CRVOC Website Help section, here

post them in the Gen4 section individually.

  1. Wind noise - Anybody used doors suppression materials? There are lots of YouTube videos on weatherstripping and wind noise, and just as many products. I'd say start there.
  2. Sun roof button - Mine is missing, any idea where I can source one?hondapartsnow.com can fix you up.
  3. Tune-up - Which are the best plugs and leads to use?Use the OEM plugs. Leads should last many years if not forever.
  4. Handbook - Mine is missing, best place to find one?Try eBay, or Google for a download.
  5. Rear shocks - I think mine may need replacing, which ones are best, I4 is bumpy.I'd have them checked to see if they are leaking. You won't top the OEM ones, but they are not cheap!
  6. Headlight bulbs - Best ones?Again, YouTube videos. Or this forum.
  7. Fog and spot - Would appear to be pointing down, how to adjust?Fog lights are supposed to point down - they are not running lights and are not adjustable.

Thanks:eek:
You might consider any number of aftermarket driving lights, such as an LED light bar mounted in the grill. By the way, welcome to the forum! Keep us posted on how you like your new ride, and how it goes with all this. Pictures are always good, too.
