I have a 2103 with 40k miles.

Has anyone noticed an increase in performance or better MPG with the drop in K&N air filter?

I also was looking for CAI options for a 2013 and could not find anything decent. Seems like older gens have options but not much for the 2013. Any recommendations?

You don't get too much of a noticeable performance increase with drop-in filters anymore, IMO. Factory designers have maximized and tuned the intake airflow already.

There is also a risk of damaging the sensors in the intake if you ever over-oil the K&N.

If it's induction noise you seek, eliminating the 'silencer' incorporated into the air tract (Hans471+ will remind me the name of that resonator) will make it louder...

Not so much noise, but if that's a side effect, I'll take it. I'm really looking to increase performance and mpg.

I don't believe you can get any noticeable improvement in MPG or POWER by using a K&N filter, but what you will get is more dirt in your engine. Look up some of the engine air filter tests online.
With a modern computer controlled ignition and fuel delivery system, even a fairly dirty air filter will barely reduce the mpg, but it can reduce the power somewhat under FULL throttle.

PS:Don't waster your money on those low priced 'Performance Chips' either, on a computer controlled ignition and fuel injection CRV.
