2012 CRV bought last March didn’t notice any heater problems then. This winter I noticed lack of heat on drivers side. I read a lot about this topic on this site as well as other places. I did the heater diagnostic test came back wth “no” on the display. I assume that means no problems?

Our 2013 was decent when we bought it, but seems to be getting less output with time. I'm thinking of doing the CLR treatment in the Spring to see if it is suffering from the calcification issue that many 2012 & some 2013's seem to have.

My access to a hosting site is restricted, but the Heater Core TSB is Honda Service Bulletin 14-063.

The description is about a measurable difference in temp as measured via the left to right vents. This is because the routing of coolant flow favors delivery of heat to the passengers side as the core slowly clogs. Eventually, however, this will be felt as a total low heat event.
