I have a 2006 and am a little disappointed at how little fuel it holds. Is there any way to put a larger tank on that sucker?

Doubt it, unless you got some kind of aftermarket racing tank.

I've never heard of anyone replacing the tank. These cars getting good gas mileage, so you'll be fine with the tank you have.

It's a 15.3 gallon tank....good for 290 - 350 miles if you let it get down to the Low Fuel light.

I have a 2002 that I have used to pull my off-road vehicles around. It does fine but the reduced mpg forces a lot of fuel stops. I like the vehicle and would like to put a larger or additional fuel tank somewhere to give me an additional 100+ miles between fuel stops. Pulling it to Colorado I can’t wait for the fuel light. Sometimes it is a long ways between gas stations.

I doubt you'll find a larger replacement fuel tank, as the tank is designed to fit the space available where it's mounted under the CR-V.

Since you're pulling a trailer have you looked at fuel can mounts for the front of the trailer?
