Hi all, flat battery lock out of my 2008 honda crv found an easy way to get power into the car battery without damage or opening the hood but only works if you have a tow bar with 2 plugs, one trailer plug and the other a grey auxiliary plug, connect a battery live cable to the bottom pole and the negative side of slave battery to connector to the right side of bottom connector and gives power to unlock car with remote control

Why did you not use your keys!

Also not all trailer plugs have the positive direct charging supply cable, hence this method may not work with other motors.

Key did not work and as stated this method only works on the grey plug

I would suggest that after getting the door to open that you fix the lock so that you can use the key.
Using the key is a lot easier that doing what you presented.

Any update on how you handled the situation?
Because I seem to have a similar problem and I can't figure it out.
