I'm seeing some posts where people are saying that they don't see anything about a particular feature in the owner's manual that came with their vehicle. I have a 2016 CR-V EX-L, and I was disappointed in the manual that came with the vehicle. Information was either sparse or missing. I soon learned that what came with the vehicle was actually called an "owner's guide", and I could get a full "owner's manual" at http://owners.honda.com.

What a difference! I downloaded the full manual in a .pdf file, and it is chock full of additional info that the guide didn't have. In addition to downloading, a printed manual can be ordered, but it's expensive ($50?). In some cases, the web site has a link to order a printed manual for free. It states: "A printed Owner's Manual, Navigation Manual, and Warranty Booklet are complimentary to the first registered owner, up to six months after vehicle purchase." I'm not sure that's available for all years. It was for mine.

So go to http://owners.honda.com and click on the Vehicle Information tab at the top, then the Owners Manual & Warranty link. Keep navigating to manuals and/or warranties, enter your vehicle info. If there is a link for the guide and a link for the manual, select the manual.

I downloaded the manuals to my i-Pad using Good-Reader. We used it on our recent trip to look up stuff on the go. We found it very useful to learn how all the cool features work as questions came up on our trip.
