Someone's going to tell you to replace your battery...
First step, have the battery properly load tested. If you use the local auto parts store for this, I recommend testing it two times at two different auto parts stores, and see if you get consistent test results. Reason: attention to detail is important when testing a battery, not just slapping a tester on it and black boxing the results.Someone's going to tell you to replace your battery...
Yep, new battery time. It's been three years this year.So the wife just informed me there are some "extra" warning messages and lights on the dash of her 2019 touring (extras ? ? ha !
I go out and look .... TPMS, VSA, Hill start, Brake hold, Drive carefully system, Brake system. . . all come on one at a time & repeat.
?? Are these all controled by one module ? ? Which one ? Where ?
Checked the under hood fuse box bus bar . .good, checked under dash fuses . . . good.
Disconnected the battery for 2min . . . still on.
Looks like Honda service Dept
Yep still under warranty ! But what the hell is going on ?

And thats why it scheduled for Service @ honda dealer . . . thursday a.m.Time to check for OBDII error codes. Not just the generic codes, but also the Honda specific ones.
The VSA module, aka ABS, is responsible for the ABS, VSA, Brakes, TPMS and parking brakes. But you also have electric power brakes, electric power steering and electric power throttle via the PCM. They are all interconnected via the CAN bus and have interrelated functionality when it comes to things like stability control. I'm afraid this is not simply a fuse but more likely a problem with one of the modules or a sensor like a wheel speed sensor. Even the camera and radar are tied to these systems for auto braking. This really requires proper diagnostic equipment and a knowledgeable tech.1. Zero wrong with battery . . . replace in Feb, JUST load tests fine, charge system is good to go 14.2 vt and uses a maintainer. Starts up with vigor !
2. the trouble screens are only repeating for the ABS / VSA / Brake / TPMS etc systems, over and over. not the whole car.
What module controls all these? Are these a branch of but under the control of the main control board or does ABs module have control ?
Or are they on the same feed line, but have a common relay ? ( i checked the bus and fuses as okay )
Be sure to let us know what the dealer finds. And thats why it scheduled for Service @ honda dealer . . . thursday a.m.![]()
Speaking from experience with a very similar 2016 Civic Touring: a single fuse element can cause all of these lights/message/warnings. In our case, it was because of an improperly installed harness--a bracket not fastened to the right inner fender--during a repair due to rat damage, that had dangled into an accessory drive pully and abraded until the power to the VSA module (via a 40A fuse element on one of the "multi-fuse blocks") shorted, failing the fuse. Once the fuse was replaced, the harness repaired, and correctly fastened to structure, the problem was resolved. As you point out, VSA operating correctly is key to many of these other systems operating correctly or at all.I'm afraid this is not simply a fuse but more likely a problem with one of the modules or a sensor like a wheel speed sensor
