1997 174,600 runs ok, just bought it and needs brakes, belts, differential fluid changed, not sure about valve adjustment I've been reading about on here. I'm beginning to wonder if I should invest any more money in this. I paid $3,100.
UPDATE: I took the car to our local Honda dealer for a free inspection. They showed me that I had been lied to by the tire dealer that I do NOT need brakes they are good for about 2 more years. I had the rear differential fluid changed x3 and it took care of the loud squeel from the rear on sharp turns. I had the brake fluid changed (it was filthy), I had the transmission fluid changed. At a non dealership mechanic I had tie rods replaced and I think I'm good to go now. Runs great and drives down the freeway like I'm on glass! This forum really healped me with things to look for without allowing a mechanic to tell me it is this or that expensive work needing to be done.
