Hello there. I have recently rid my 2003 of a mouse problem via traps and I now want to get rid of that mouse smell that emits from the ventilation system. I have a fresh cabin filter ready to go, but I need to know where air enters the system. I am assuming there is some sort of duct or inlet in the engine compartment? I couldn't find anything on the Google.
I was going to run the fan through all the different settings while spraying Lysol in order to deodorize and disinfect.
Thanks.

The fresh air enters from the passenger side. You have to remove the plastic cowling at the bottom of the windshield to expose the duct opening. While you have the cowling removed you might as well put a screen mesh over the opening to keep your future little friends from entering the vehicle.
