I've recently purchased a 2009 Honda CR-V exl w/navigation. The current cd is labeled version 6 2014. I'm wishing to purchase an updated 2019 cd for the 2009 Honda. Does the new cd have more updated info then the one I currently have? The Honda navigation website will not return my emails to answer the above question. The cost of the new cd is $143.00, and I just want to make sure that it has more info then the one I currently have. Thank you in advance.

Yes, it will have info on streets that were not present when your old disc was manufactured. Also, I see the cost at $149.

Have you checked EBAY for a CD disc for this CRV? They normally have original Honda discs available.

You could always use your phone for navigation, I have a 2009 EX-L w/Nav but can’t justify the cost of the disc for the navigation. I just use my phone these days and play the sound through Bluetooth so I get the “turn by turn” directions.. just my $.02
