So bought the car used in summer '15
2003 Honda CRV 5Speed standard

Had a serious oil leak from what I thought was Oil pressure light sensor. Close but no cigar, it turned out that there was a leak was from a crack in the "extrusion" where the sensor bolts to.

I finished off the crack apparently when I chipped off a part of the block.

Long story short, I fixed the leak by drilling/tapping and put a plug in it.

I figured the valves needed adjusted while I had the whole transaxle dropped off and found that one of the camshaft lobes had worn off the hardface.

I need a new oem camshaft but have no luck finding one.
All other cams are stage 2 and up and I don't want to have to get a different exhaust, intake, and tune just to get it driving again.

Thanks for any help!

Guess my reply a bit late now but I discovered exhaust cam worn in same way on my 03. Manufacturing fault on some apparently. I got camshaft from a Dubai baased company called Mag Engines on ebay. the cam is common to quite a few Honda models. Was very cheap and barely worn. Very fast delivery. would recommend..
