I think I would like to add some chrome plated nerf bars and a rear spoiler to my 2010 CRV. I know OEM parts are expensive so I was thinking that 3rd party would be the way to go. I have basically 2 questions.

1. What makes a quality nerf bar?

2. Can anyone point me to a reputable manufacturer of nerf bars and/or spoilers and a website to purchase from?

Stainless steel nerf bars/running-boards are probably the most durable, as they won't rust. Ebay seems to have an easily searchable selection, though many of the auto part stores online are decent too.

For the Nerf Bars check Tuff-Bar, Westin or Romik - I would say top 3 in this area. Before getting the nerf bars, check what material they are made of, what kind of warranty they have and how they are installed. Most popular finishes are stainless steel and powdercoated.
Also, you can get either rear or roofline spoiler for your vehicle, unpainted or painted (in this case check your paint code first to have the perfect match).
