I installed my new stereo, sirius, and new speakers over Christmas weekend and figured I'd put up some pictures.
First of all, this thread was so helpful with the Sirius install...

I never would of thought to put it down there. Helped a ton.
After that, I installed my head unit, a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794.
I had a few problems, mainly in that the dash adapter kit Crutchfield sent with it wouldn't even fit the radio, the radio was too wide. I think I was just really unlucky because it's your typical sized head unit. The bottom bin that came with it was also too wide to fit, so I'm not sure what was going on. Thankfully, it fit into the Honda one, so I just swapped out radios. There is a small gap on top, but it's not noticeable unless you angle your head right.
I drilled a hole in the bottom bin and ran the USB cable that's built into the radio out the front. I was thinking of running it through the storage counsel, but I didn't want to tear it apart that much to get in there.
So for now I got this...
As you can see, since I had to use the Honda part, I now have a useless AUX jack that isn't connected to anything. So once it gets warm out, I'm going to pull it back out, clean it out, drill out the back, and mount the USB connecter in there so when I flip up the AUX door, it's a USB and I just plug my ipod into that.
Radio is great though and with the JBL speakers I put in it sounds great.
Any ideas otherwise on where to mount the USB or anyone have any experience with doing what I'm thinking about doing?
