This is my first post on the forum. I am a regular viewer on the Ridgeline forum since I have a 2012 Ridgeline.

Two weeks ago I bought a 2020 CR-V. It was the SUV that my wife wanted. She has been impressed with my Ridgeline, so she thought she would also own a Honda.

I did my research and I was reluctant to pull the trigger on the sale because of the earlier years 1.5 engine issue. I talked to my mechanic, who has been a Honda mechanic for over 20 years, and he assured me it was a great vehicle.

Anyway, I am hopeful to learn a lot from the posters on this forum.

Welcome to the forum! I can report that ex-wives are far more expensive than a new car, so it's highly likely you made a good decision. :giggle: Job one is keeping SWMBO happy, all else is gravy. You'll find a lot of good information here. Keep us posted on how it goes. Also, we love pictures. Show us the new ride!

I have a 2020 as well, now with 1000 miles. It heats up quickly, no gas in the oil and runs great. Will just follow mm recommendations and I expect this will be a long term vehicle.
A small percentage of 2017/2018 CRV vehicles seem to have had some issues, most have been solved by now but always a risk to purchase an all new revised vehicle. Enjoy yourself!
