2. Yes. Also, if you don't want the lights to briefly stay on after turning the engine off, set the timer in lighting options to OFF/0.

Yes, the dash will have a green headlight indicator with an "A" meaning auto high beams - if this isn't present when the headlights are on at night in the AUTO position, you need to enable auto high beams via procedure and/or reset your car via pulling fuse #18. Also, if you need to manually activate the high beams, just push the stalk forward as normal.
