Just joined the club. Had a 2008 Civic EX coupe 11 years and just traded for a 2016 CR-V EX for the extra room. Any suggestions on how to cut down some of the road noise.

WELCOME!

You don't mention mileage but it could be the tires. Feel for 'feathering' in the tread, especially on the rears.

If you do feel feathering (rougher in one direction than the other) then note the condition when you get an alignment.

If the tires are older and 'hard', you may need new ones. The CR-Vs are not the best when it comes to reducing road noise.
