Hi,
Just purchased a high mileage 2005 CRV SE. This going to be my project car. The goal is to get it reliable enough to go into the mountains and do some flat logging- / gravel- roads - nothing that would require a winch or recovery equipment.

I've driven Honda's since high school, but we parted ways with the ill fated 2006 Civic Hybrid. It was traded-in for a Prius, after the dealer replaced the drive battery pack. I got high kelly blue book value on the trade, since I could prove that the battery was brand new.

Now I'm back to wrenching on Honda's again. Hopefully I can pick up some tips and tricks from veteran members.

WELCOME.

Post in the Gen2 section with some pics. After you do any maintenance that you don't have records of, the car should be QUITE reliable. Its all easy stuff like fluids.
