I just got my first gold 2002 CRV a few days ago with only 138k on it! Here is the problem: when driving at night I thought there must have been a bulb out to show what gear I was in (automatic trans). I have the big color book from Honda with pictures of the inside all over that show the gear indicator lights on the tachometer. Mine has none- just black plastic. I took apart the dash some to see if there is a light behind the letters by the shifter- but it looks like it's just stuck on top of the plastic dashboard. Am I supposed to see the gear I'm in? It sure would be helpful.

Thanks.

Jack
