Just bought a 2017 Touring w/30K miles. It required two repairs right away: a defective blower motor and a knocking noise in the dashboard which turned out to be a spring which was not seated properly. My main concern, though, is a noise when accelerating. The best way to describe it that it sounds like a fishing reel. Sort of a chirp or whir, but at a higher frequency and more "clicky". My foot barely has to be pressing the gas and the noise begins. It speeds up as the car accelerates and is louder than I think it should be. I don't mind the "growl" and real engine noise, but this little extra really bugs me. The dealer said it's from the high-pressure fuel pump and transmission and it's normal. I really hope this not a normal noise and that it can be repaired because it's all I hear. Any advice?
