Hi guys, apologies this is my first post, I am absolutely stumped with this car.

The spec is UK, 1998, 2.0 petrol. No obd.

The car at first drove to the shop, turned it off, came back outside and it refused to start.

There was no spark present, the dizzy looked really crap, so I've changed the dizzy cap, rotor Arm and coil...

Still no spark.

I took all the spark plugs out, there is also no fuel whilst being turned over. I have pressed the inertia switch and that has made no difference.

So, I've checked the main relay, the fuel pump comes on, the timing is in tact, I have taken out the back up power fuse, put on a good battery, and I've also taken disassembled and cleaned the ignition switch up.

I must now admit defeat, I hope you guys might be able to help, as I'm completely at a loss now..

Thanks!!

The fuel pump comes on yet there's no fuel being pumped. Are you out of gas?
Does this model have an ignition ignitor inside the distributor?
Just trying to help.

So you are saying that there is no spark?
No fuel.
The fuel pump is running.
Is all the above correct?
How did you determine each one?
Does the engine crank over fast?
If the igniter (located in the distributor and it takes the place of points) goes bad, you will get no spark. You don't need to use an OEM part for this.
Is it possible that the fuel filter (located on the firewall and easy to change) is plugged up?
Do an Internet search on no start Hondas.

PS: Check for the fuse that controls the spark.
