I’m having some trouble with the blower on the air conditioner of my 2015 CR-V, but it’s intermittent, so I’m having trouble tracking down the base issue.

This is the pattern I’ve observed:

Get in the car to pick up my daughter from school, and the blower will not start. Turn the fan knob, and it ticks along but no air comes out. I get to the school (about 5 minutes away), pick up my daughter, and head to another location. I get on the access road for the freeway, get the car up to between 50-60 mph, and when I try the AC again, it comes on, but the fan speed wobbles a bit until it stabilizes and works flawlessly for the rest of the day.

The other data point I have is that the blower works fine in cooler weather. The temperature has on average been under 70F for a couple of months, but temps are starting to creep into the mid-80s with summer on the way.

What do you think is the culprit here? The resistor? The blower motor itself? Possibly a fuse? Any guidance is welcome.

Since the fan works, I think the switch is the most likely culprit.
