That’s odd. It should come with a 3/16” od semi rigid black tube with metal sleeving inside similar to bicycle brake cable housing and should fit. Do you have the PELA 6000 clone? http://www.pelaproducts.com/description.htmHi,
I purchased a Powerbuilt 6 litre fluid extractor from Amazon recently with the idea of doing more frequent oil changes than the recommended intervals. Unfortunately, it shipped with only a 5.8 mm diameter suction tip and I am unable to insert it far enough down the dipstick hole to contact any oil. I am curious what size of tube will fit down the hole successfully. Perhaps I can source a smaller section from a plumbing supply house and tape it to the end of the current one. What size do other owners use? Otherwise, I will have to return this item unused and purchase a different one which has different sized suction tips. Thanks for the replies.
