P0507 code working on a 2004 installed a new aftermarket idle air control valve .

I had clear the code ran fine for a few minutes dropped down to 1200 RPMs then it started surging any other ideals, :confused2:

Why did you replace it?

And aftermarket ones are garbage most of the time. Likely could have simply cleaned the original and it would have been fine.

Also need to do idle relearn proceedure especially when you put a random aftermarket part on there that the ECM cannot calibrate to.
