Parking brake usage/Rear brake adjustment

Does regular/normal use of the parking brake have any effect on the rear brakes (adjust them)? In other words, if someone seldom or never used the parking brake could the rear brakes become less effective and cause higher than normal front pad wear?

No, the parking brakes are a separate small drum brake system on the rear wheels, not part of the disk brakes.
