Hi,
New here. We had an accident with our Ford Focus that was totaled out that we use to tow behind the RV. Just bought a 2014 CRV and I'm getting ready to set it up to tow 4 down.
I have a Roadmaster sterling tow bar. I looked at Roadmaster and they show 3 different brackets not sure which ones to order.
If anyone has their CRV set up to tow which brackets did you use?
Is a brake light relay required?
Which supplemental brake system do you use?
Where did you buy the parts from?
Thanks,

Jeff

I tow my 2013 4 down with Roadmaster Stowmaster 5000. It looks like the Stowmaster and Sterling require different base plates because of the way they attach to the plate. I suggest you call eTrailer. They won't steer you wrong and they are a good source of all the parts you will need.

I found a local body shop to install the base plate. They were qualified to remove and replace the bumper etc.

I chose NOT to tamper with the vehicle wiring so I put a 2" receiver hitch on the CRV, found a 3 bulb light bar that mounts in the hitch and wired it separately directly to the coach.

I have no recommendations and brake systems. You will find the CRV a super little toad!!
