Truck is in great condition in and out, but had really high miles....236k.

What things should I look into with regards to replacement and maintenence?

It's on it's second motor, I know that for sure. Valve issues?

Thanks!

Adding to Chris's list... air filter, pollen filter, and yes definitely get the valves adjusted (which should happen with the timing belt change--but make sure it does). Don't skip the pollen filter. We had a member that had a bad blower motor transistor. He checked the pollen filter and it was plugged. He brought up the interesting possibility that the plugged pollen may have overloaded the blower motor and cooked the transistor.

You may want to consider changing the coolant as well.

Good luck with your V...I hope it turns out to be a real bargain. Welcome to the club!

The second motor has about 100k on it.

I def need to find out the maintenence history on it.
