Good thing about plasti dip if you don't like it, peel it off. So give it a try. I think it will look good in either gunmetal to somewhat match your body color or black should look cool too.

Oh no.. id rather dip them.. see this is my wifes CRV and im just driving it for the next 3 months while shes away in school.. id hate to paint them and then having to deal with her being pissed off at the color... with the dip i can just peel them and be good... i think I'll give it a try with some Metallic Anthracite Gray...

I think that PD looks good when first applied on wheels, but I've seen a heckuva lot of them with the coating starting to wear off. :(


Still, a good plan (for the reasons you mention) since it is the GF's car.


Myself, I'd like Gunmetal or Anthracite, better than black.

Post up some pics if you went through with this. I have the same color car and wheels and am curious how i would look. I plasti dipped my wheels on my civic and was satisfied with the results.
