I just bought a 2018 CRV E-XL. The plastic trim around the vehicle looks like it is oxidizing. Super frustrating!! I added the Resist-all on the back end of my purchase. Was this a mistake? The service department tells me the Resist-all could have dripped onto the trim so they “carefully” scrubbed the trim and it looked okay until it snowed the next day and obviously the trim got wet. Anyone had this issue?? I’ve been dealing with the GM of the dealership and he’s a jerk. Thinking about going straight to Honda?? Please help!

If wax /cleaners gets on plastic trim it gives it a haze.
Go buy some peanut oil and it will break down the wax and shine the panel

Thank you for the peanut oil advice. Will that be a permanent one time fix or will I now be forced to use the peanut oil any time it rains, snows, I go to the car wash etc...
