My Honda CRV 2009 was showing to replace Bank 1 Sensor 1.
I have replaced it with NGK24835.
Now again the engine light has come up.
Now it is showing:
P1157 - Lack of downstream Heated O2 sensor (HO2S22) switch. Sensor indicates Lean (Bank #2).
What does it mean??

P1157 is the first sensor (that you replaced). Normally it switches high & low voltage to indicate to the ECU that the engine mixture is proper. Yours is not.

Rock Auto shows it as a suitable part, but the Denso sensors seem to be more popular.

Could you have damaged the sensor or the wiring when doing the first repair? Could the connectors for the sensor be corroded? Check the wiring before trying another sensor.

Post back with results.
