Does anyone know the wiring diagram on the front and rear speakers on a 2002 CRV. The previous owner put cheap aftermarket speakers in and chopped up the harness. I am not sure which color wires are + or -.

Always thought that the - line has a runner color on it. If 1 line [+] is clear, the other [-] has either a black stripe or black dashes on it.

The previous owner I am sure did not have the polarity correct based on his install. I found the correct colors, but did not noticed your suggestion. I will check to see if that is what i have. thanks.

speaker wire color code for front and rear speakers:

Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Green/Black
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Green/Yellow
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Gray/Red

Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Blue/White
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Blue/Black
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Pink
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Blue/Yellow
