Hi everyone, need some help I am having with my Honda CR-V 2011 mk3 uk car.
I went to use my car the other morning and i have no power steering.Car dash has a. Check steering symbol but nothing else.

Contacted RAC who inspected and toled me that they think my electric power steering has broken.There-are also no fault codes either so a bit lost what to do.Appreciate the help with getting this sorted. Car has only done 91000
Also I am told the issue means I will need to have this reprogrammed if I replace the power steering.
Honda uk tell me the part would cost shy of £700 and will need to be programmed. Help appreciated thanks…

Reprogramming might be a bit of an over statement, but yes. The torque sensor and steering angle sensor needs to be zeroed in the EPS and VSA anytime the EPS is replaced. This is done with a Honda HDS or a bidirectional scan tool capable of performing these functions.
As for no codes, there is one or more codes set by the fact that the EPS indicator lamp was lit. But it requires a scanner capable of communicating with the EPS module, generic scanners can't do this.
