Hello all,

I pulled the b20z out of my 200k+ mile 99 ex 5spd and traded it for a fresh high comp B20b. I put my original intake etc on the new engine and attempted to perform a CKF bypass but it has never worked.

Since I put in the new engine my CEL blinks 54 for the CKF as well as 61 and 67 for primary O2 and catalyst efficiency

I’ve checked the quicksplices and everything I could think of multiple times. I have checked my Catalytic with a laser thermometer and it seems to be working and I have spare oxygen sensors that have made no difference.

I feel like I’m missing something here... can someone help me out? Does the ckf bypass work on b20z ECU’s?

Thanks
Wade

you can't by pass CKF that is the crank shaft position sensor.
its like the CKP of OBDI cars. best chance is to tap the wiring of CKP if equiped with one. or get the right ecu for the engine.
