Rear View Cam

In the diagnostic menus, not as a permanent solution.

But the side camera can be turned on at any time with the push of the stalk on the steering column

The 2017 CR-V does not have the side camera. It was replaced with the Blind Spot Monitoring System which warns of cars in either left or right side blind spots.

There is no easy way to view the rear view camera when driving forward.

I believe that if you shift into reverse the rear camera will come on...Not recommended however.
