On my 2021 CRV Hybrid Touring I noticed a quirk with my remote start function. I can do multiple remote starts and stops in a row, however once I open and close the power lift gate with my remote key fob, I then can no longer do a remote start until I enter the vehicle and start and stop it from the dashboard.

Anyone else notice this to confirm? Is their a way to turn this off if so? What would the intent of this limitation be if confirmed?

The next time I use remote start will be my first, but I think the only thing you can change with remote start function is whether to turn it on/off.
