Long story short while sitting in back seat my wife dumped an entire pumpkin pie onto my armrest and a bunch of it got inside the rear heat/ac vent. I'd like to take it apart to clean it thoroughly. Does anyone have instructions or tricks to getting the trim apart without breaking any of the tabs? Could not find anything on Youtube. Thanks!
Haynes has a repair manual that covers the 2012 to 2016 CRV. Maybe info there? Your library might have a copy. Here's Amazon link:

Another option is to pay $10 to subscribe to Honda Service Express for 1 day.
