I have given up painting my CR-V manually and have decided to go professional. This gives me an opportunity to get a flashier paint job. I thought black with a blue sheen like a raven would look nice, but then I thought it might be too flashy and that I should just go with the standard Nighthawk Black Pearl.

What would be the pros and cons? Which shops can do standard colors and which can do flashy paint jobs?

A comprehensive paint job can cost 5 figure$$$. Are you sure you want to spend that much?

If you don't intend to keep the car 'forever', consider a wrap, which will last 3 - 5 years. You can get various sheens, colors, and effects.

A detailing shop might do wraps, or would know of companies that install them locally to you.

More looking for a permanent solution so it looks like standard is the way to go.
