If you ever spill a drink, you'll be grateful for the Weather Techs. Or if you ever have to get into the car with muddy or wet shoes. The WT's are easy to clean. I would say their only down side is that they may cause a slightly higher interior noise level. I love mine. I have them in my truck, too. At over five years old they still look brand new when I clean them. I also kept my carpet mats, which, while they do look nice, are somewhat less functional in a messy world.
