Hello.

Apologies if this questions has been asked repeatedly, but I need some advice.

I have a 2006 Honda CRV with an inoperable, driver's side back window. I went to the dealer and had them diagnose = need new driver's master window switch. Dealership wants $325 for the part, and Honda Parts Direct wants $253. But I've seen it elsewhere on line for as little as $20, which I don't quite understand.

Questions:

1. Has anyone purchased this part and if so, where/were you pleased with the part?
2. Is this an easy part replacement, or should I take back to the dealer?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

Jeff Tully

You aren't going to get a switch for $20 unless it's junk from China. Ya you can find them all day long but there is a reason why they are that cheap. May last a month or 6 months. Like anything else there is the real stuff and cheap Chinese garbage (crap I really wish would be banned from being imported) Branded parts from the dealership are expensive, but 100* better quality.

There is usually an "in between", basically autopart store which has a warranty and decent quality at least.
