FYI,

If anyone is replacing the factory radio, this adapter works. I couldn't find anyone who had tried it..

Interesting. So what happens to all of your HVAC controls and everything else in the HU? Do they appear in the new unit?

EDIT - Nvm, I see there's a supplementary module you need for that (iDatalink Maestro RR). I'd be interested to see how that works out and how successful it is in communicating with the onboard systems.

Using that link, I entered that I have a 2018 CRV LX....and it says that this model adapter "will not fit". But you're saying that is DOES in fact work?

[EDIT]
Even the site, in the product details, shows this:
General Features:
  • Compatible with:
    • 2016-Up Civic (LX Sedan)
    • 2017-Up CR-V (LX Models)
So....I think whatever mechanism the site uses to determine if it "fits" or not is messed up. :)
