Hi Everyone
I decided to change the Factory Stereo (Gathers VRU-195CVI) in my 2018 Honda CR-V (Japanese Import) to the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX.However after changing it to the Pioneer Stereo the steering wheel controls are no longer working even though the Metra Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface was used.Is there any way I can get the steering wheel controls to work with the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX ? Thanks

If the Axxess is specifically listed as to support the 2018, and you have the ability to do so, then try reflashing the firmware on the Axxess. I've read accounts where it starts to work after it has been reflashed a few times.

Oh, just saw you had some odd brand of radio, that's likely not going to work with anything. The Scosche supports Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, etc...

I would suggest contacting the manufacturers directly to see if they have something in development. iDatalink, PAC, and Axxcess do not list the 2017 CRV as supported for a SWI device.

The PAC, iDatalink and Axxess will not work for the 2017-2019 LX CRV. You must use the LHA-20 from Scosche, you also need the Metra harness for the camera..

I have a 2017 CR-V LX. I'm thinking of putting in the Kenwood-Excelon-DDX6906S. Do you think the LHA-20 steering wheel adapter would work with this unit too? I don't want to lose my steering wheel controls for radio selection and answering calls. And it is proving quite difficult to find the right adapter. Everything is fully functional after your install? Also which Metra harness would I need?
